The Fleet Reliability Engineer at Allegiant is responsible for maintaining airworthiness, reliability, and safety across the growing fleet. The Fleet Reliability Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the ongoing airworthiness, operational performance, and safety of Allegiant’s expanding fleet. This role bridges engineering acumen with analytical rigor and regulatory compliance, driving data-driven reliability improvements across aircraft systems and components.
The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with strong technical and investigative skills, capable of supporting FAA-mandated Reliability Programs, analyzing data to identify mechanical and operational trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and OEM partners. This is a strategic, high-visibility role well suited for proactive professionals passionate about aviation safety and continuous improvement.

Education:Bachelor’s Degree
Education Details:Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative or technical field such as aerospace engineering, aviation management, statistics, systems engineering, business analytics, or information systems.
Years of Experience:
Minimum three (3) years experience in aviation reliability/airline technical operations or;
Minimum two (2) years experience in aviation reliability/airline technical operations with a Master's.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
