Job summary

8Fleet, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Specialist to help manage vehicles and access for drivers at the start and end of each shift. You will ensure fleet readiness, perform inspections, and provide basic tech support to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced LA-area operation. Compensation is hourly and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Basic knowledge of mobile apps and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/move around a vehicle yard.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and collect vehicle keys and equipment at start and end of shifts.
• Assist with basic cleaning and staging of vehicles for use.
• Perform pre- and post-ride inspections and report any issues.
• Troubleshoot basic fleet app issues and escalate complex problems.
• Maintain records of assignments, vehicle condition, and shift activity.
• Provide admin and logistical support to the fleet management team.
