Job summary

Kept Companies is seeking a dependable Shop Manager to help maintain safety, compliance, and readiness of our shop and fleet. You will inspect vehicles as they arrive, verify readiness, and ensure equipment is prepared for daily operations.

Qualifications

Follow inspection checklists and established procedures.
Experience in fleet maintenance or shop operations preferred.
Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect vehicles on arrival and check vehicles already on-site.
Verify vehicles are safe, properly equipped, and ready for daily operations.
Identify and report vehicle damage, maintenance needs, safety concerns, or compliance issues.
Confirm required equipment and supplies are present and secured.
Maintain accurate inspection records and report issues requiring follow-up.
Keep the shop, fleet area, and equipment organized and in proper order.
Communicate inspection findings and outstanding issues to the appropriate team members.
Support a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
