Job summary

Waymo is seeking a Fleet Readiness Manager in a hybrid role to maximize uptime across a multi-site electric vehicle fleet. You will lead diagnostic teams, monitor fleet health with data analytics, and drive proactive maintenance to meet market demand.

You will bridge hardware engineering and field operations, oversee vendor performance, and deliver executive-ready reporting to Global Fleet Leadership. Travel about 10% is expected.

Qualifications

5+ years in commercial operations or logistics focused on large-scale fleet readiness.
Direct experience with EV/high-voltage systems and charging infrastructure.
Experience auditing SLAs and vendor safety certifications.
Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects with timely delivery.
Strong data interpretation to identify gaps and mitigate risks.
Willingness to travel 10% and operate in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

Drive fleet readiness across platforms to meet performance benchmarks.
Provide leadership to Diagnostic Technicians and coordinate priorities.
Manage SLAs with vendors and ensure staff training.
Develop health strategies for EV fleet including charging, battery, and powertrain calibration.
Monitor real-time fleet health metrics and drive corrective actions.
Provide performance insights and executive-ready reporting to leadership.
