Job summary

ManpowerGroup is recruiting a Fleet Support Engineer in Foster City, CA to support the Vehicle Development department. You will act as the primary technical contact for real-time escalations, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions for powertrain and vehicle dynamics issues.

The role requires a strong powertrain background, EV knowledge, and practical experience with high and low voltage systems. Collaboration with field technicians and rapid knowledge sharing are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in transportation, aerospace or autonomous vehicles with focus on powertrain, energy storage or charging systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automotive Engineering.
• Ability to safely troubleshoot low and high voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for real-time escalations on powertrain and vehicle dynamics issues.
• Conduct in-depth root cause analysis to implement interim and permanent corrective actions.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to powertrain performance, energy consumption and charging.
• Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides for powertrain components to enable field technicians and knowledge sharing.
• Validate bring-up and functional verification procedures for powertrain systems.
