Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a PM Mechanic/Helper to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. You’ll work on a single fleet with state-of-the-art equipment, supporting drivers and servicing technically advanced vehicles.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License is preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains a basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
• Conducts vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools.
