Job summary

Tidewater Fleet Supply / TNT Parts seeks a dependable, customer-focused on-site fleet support team member to work in a municipal fleet facility. You will source parts, manage inventory, and help ensure technicians have the right parts when needed, while delivering exceptional service.

You will interact with fleet personnel and vendors, process invoices and requisitions, and assist with receiving shipments in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to fleet technicians and personnel for daily parts needs.
• Identify, source, and recommend parts using catalogs, vendor resources, and company systems.
• Generate invoices and process requisitions accurately within the ERP system.
• Receive vendor shipments and process receiving documents.
• Source and process buyouts for non-stocked parts when required.
• Respond promptly to in-person, phone, and email inquiries.
• Maintain accurate inventory organization and assist with inventory management.
• Keep the parts room and customer-facing spaces clean, organized, and professional.
• Build strong relationships with fleet personnel, vendors, and teammates.
• Maintain product knowledge to support customer needs and improve service levels.
• Occasionally operate a company vehicle to pick up parts or supplies.
• Assist during emergency situations and provide after-hours support when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
