Job summary

Genuine Parts Company (GPC) is seeking a parts professional to provide and source parts for fleet customers. You will use your parts knowledge to assist teammates and answer customer questions while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have a valid driver’s license and experience in auto parts or a willingness to learn. This role involves working around an airport environment and may require technical courses or a degree.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn all things auto parts.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical or trade school courses or degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers.
• Ability to work in or around an airport environment in a shop setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for fleet customers.
• Use parts knowledge to assist other team members and answer customer questions.
• Provide outstanding customer service and interact with management and technicians.
• Bring customer focus and high energy to a fast-paced environment.
• Ask questions to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced.
• Inform customers on parts availability.
