Job summary

Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) is seeking a full-time Paint and Body Repair Technician in Ann Arbor, MI. Qualifications

• Performs painting and finishing on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Familiar with inspections, road calls and troubleshooting on vehicles.
• Repair and maintenance of door controls, extinguishers, signage and interior components.

Responsibilities

• Paint inside/outside of vehicles and related equipment.
• Lettering, numbering and striping on transit vehicles.
• Repair and replace exterior body panels and interior components.
• Repair and maintain lighting, flooring, seats and upholstery.
• Welding using arc, mig, and plasma cutters and ensure safety protocols.
