Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or transportation.
• Experience with DOT regulations and safety compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS).
• Proven leadership and team supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Champion a team of drivers and hourly associates to achieve optimal performance.
• Onboard and mentor drivers with annual safety training.
• Oversee yard operations to align with warehouse needs and meet performance targets.
• Conduct routine observations and audits for safe, timely work execution.
• Promote accurate use of transportation management systems.
• Assist Safety Specialist with Driver Qualification files and drug/alcohol testing protocol.
• Travel required to support operations.
