Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics & Transportation
• Experience with transportation management systems
• Experience with DOT laws and regulations
• 2–5 years supervising fleet or transportation operations
• 2–5 years working with transportation and DOT regulations
• 2–5 years experience with yard management and fleet operations
• 2–5 years experience supervising teams of individual contributors

Responsibilities

• Champion a team of drivers and hourly associates to optimal performance.
• Engage associates and track key metrics; coach on performance issues.
• Maximize customer experience while controlling costs.
• Oversee driver onboarding and annual safety training.
• Monitor yard operations and align with warehouse needs.
• Ensure yard jockeys meet performance and safety standards.
• Conduct routine observations and audits of pre/post trips.
• Promote proper use of transportation management systems.
• Support Safety Specialist with Driver Qualification files and logs.
