Job summary

Circular Services is hiring a Transportation Supervisor to oversee daily fleet operations at a single Austin facility. You will lead drivers, manage schedules, ensure safety and DOT compliance, and coordinate with Maintenance and Operations to keep routes moving efficiently.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to resolve transportation challenges while driving continuous improvement in service quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of transportation, logistics, or fleet operations experience.
• 1+ years supervising drivers or frontline staff.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle inspection procedures.
• Experience coordinating driver schedules and daily transportation activities.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily transportation operations at the facility, ensuring routes are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Directly supervise drivers, including scheduling, timekeeping, PTO coordination, and performance coaching.
• Coordinate driver assignments, route schedules, and staffing to meet service expectations.
• Ensure DVIRs, route documents, and paperwork are completed accurately and on time.
• Monitor DOT compliance and maintain current licenses and certifications.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure vehicle readiness and proper maintenance.
• Assist with driver onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
• Lead driver meetings and communicate safety updates and operational changes.
• Use telematics to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support safety training initiatives and promote safe driving practices.
