Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in transportation or logistics.
• Valid CDL.
• Strong communication skills.
• Clean driving record.
• Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the transportation industry.
• Proven ability to manage a team and motivate drivers to meet performance goals.
• Strong knowledge of transportation software and GPS tracking systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of our transportation fleet, ensuring all vehicles are maintained and safe for use.
• Coordinate with drivers to plan and optimize delivery routes, minimizing travel time and fuel costs.
• Monitor and track vehicle performance, addressing any issues promptly to prevent downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, and driver performance.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and other departments to coordinate logistics.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
