Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, or related field or 3–5 years of relevant experience in transportation or logistics.
• Proven experience supervising transportation operations and managing a driver team.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, safety protocols, and best practices for vehicle maintenance and operation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid CDL with clean driving record.
• Experience with fleet management software and related tech is a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the transportation fleet, including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring performance.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained and operated per safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Monitor and report fuel usage, vehicle maintenance, and other operational metrics.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to the transportation fleet.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage and maintenance.
• Train and mentor new drivers and staff as needed.
