Job summary

You will ensure drivers understand load expectations and coordinate daily truck-driver operations with management.

Qualifications

• College degree in business or five years of fleet management experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as sole communications link to drivers, including load info, advances, POs, maintenance coordination, and dissemination of company news.
• Manage assigned fleet of tractors and drivers for on-time pickups/deliveries, routing, hours of service, driver availability, and cost control.
• Ensure drivers understand customer and company expectations for each load at dispatch.
• Daily accounting of all assigned trucks and drivers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
