Medline Industries, LP is seeking a fleet supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the MedTrans fleet in Houston, TX. You will schedule and dispatch drivers, ensure DOT compliance, and maintain high standards of safety and service.

Responsibilities include route optimization, driver training, vehicle maintenance, recruiting, and leading day-to-day operations. A strong background in routing software and MS Office is preferred.

Formación

• Experience managing and dispatching drivers.
• Ability to coach, mentor and train staff (minimum 2 years).
• Knowledge of Transportation Costing and Motor Carrier Operations.
• Basic skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsabilidades

• Optimize daily routes and activities based on workloads and orders.
• Ensure drivers are properly trained per MedTrans requirements.
• Maintain equipment per policy and schedule maintenance as needed.
• Recruit, hire, train and discipline drivers.
• Conduct regular driver meetings per DOT and company policy.
• Lead day-to-day activities and provide guidance on complex issues.
