Job summary

Coleman Worldwide Moving seeks a reliable Fleet Service Coordinator to support the Director of Fleet Maintenance and assist drivers with maintenance issues, including after-hours coverage. Role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and efficient vehicle utilization across the HHG fleet.

Responsibilities include coordinating repairs, monitoring Fleetmatics data, and logging maintenance information. Strong data entry and vendor negotiation skills are essential for successful operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of common computer systems including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to key data accurately and quickly.
• Knowledge of fleet management and equipment used in HHG moving or related industry.
• Ability to problem solve effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to analyze options and negotiate with vendors.
• Must be able to work with independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow/execute preventative maintenance policies for the entire fleet (long-haul, regional, local).
• Coordinate breakdown/repair response with tows or repairs and driver accommodations.
• Understand, utilize, and train others on Fleetmatics usage.
• Monitor fleet position and unit utilization for efficiency.
• Track and distribute Fleetmatics peripherals (fobs, tablets).
• Monitor fuel usage and report variances to Director of Fleet Management.
• Identify and assess collection/analysis of maintenance data and software used.
• Input maintenance and other records into electronic systems.
• Assist in maintaining fleet management policies and procedures for acquisitions and asset management.
