UPS is seeking a fleet maintenance professional to keep a safe, reliable, and cost-efficient vehicle fleet. You will oversee asset care, coordinate repairs with drivers and vendors, and perform audits to ensure safety and regulatory compliance across shifts and locations.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance planning, cost monitoring (fuel, parts, tires, labor), and identifying trends to drive savings. International travel up to 25% may be required in this permanent role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent required.
• Automotive repair experience preferred.
• Demonstrated management experience is required.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.
• Ability to interpret policies and procedures within business operations.
• Experience managing equipment repairs and supervising tools and machinery.
• Ability to manage inspections, assets and relationships with vendors.

Responsabilités

• Supports automotive safety and regulatory compliance through facility audits and training.
• Maintains adequate inventory levels (parts, tires, etc.) to support processes.
• Collaborates with groups to prevent and resolve equipment and service issues.
• Adheres to purchasing limits and expense approval procedures.
• Reviews and approves automotive expenses.
• Determines training needs, conducts evaluations, and addresses performance issues.
