Job summary

The El Paso VA Health Care System seeks a Transportation Assistant - Fleet Management to plan, direct, and coordinate operations for 130 government vehicles within the Fleet Management Section of Facilities Management Service.

QUALIFICATIONS include one year of specialized experience at the GS-7 level, knowledge of transportation regulations, vehicle care, recordkeeping, and safety instruction; ability to work under pressure; and physical demands including walking and lifting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of specialized experience at the GS-06 level in Federal Service with duties as described.
• Experience maintaining and completing records and reports.
• Experience with purchasing or credit card utilization.
