Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a dispatcher/operations leader to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the MedTrans fleet in Carteret, NJ. You will schedule and dispatch vehicles and drivers, optimize routes, and ensure compliance with DOT and company regulations.

The role requires experience managing and dispatching drivers, proficiency with routing software, and coaching staff. You will lead daily operations, maintain equipment, recruit and train drivers, and conduct regular safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience managing and dispatching drivers.
• Experience using routing software.
• Coaching, mentoring and training staff (≥2 years).

Responsibilities

• Optimize daily routes and activities based on branch and fleet workloads and customer orders.
• Ensure drivers are trained per MedTrans requirements.
• Maintain equipment per MedTrans maintenance policy.
• Recruit, hire, train and discipline drivers.
• Conduct regular driver meetings per DOT and/or company policy.
• Lead day-to-day activities of employees, assign, monitor and review progress and provide technical guidance.
