Job summary

You will formulate policies, plan long‑term goals, supervise staff, and manage budgets to support officer and public safety needs.

The role requires four years of administrative experience and a college degree, with preferred supervisory and budgeting expertise.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, preferably with courses in business or public administration.
• Requires four years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.
• Preferred: four years supervisory experience and three years in budgeting, plus experience with data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and implements policies for Fleet Operations, LEMRE, and lighting resources.
• Develops short and long-range plans and sets goals aligned with the department’s mission.
• Serves as full line supervisor and directs personnel and fiscal operations.
• Consults with administrators and external entities to meet fleet procurement needs.
• Coordinates with internal teams to resolve administrative and operational issues.
• Monitors work requests and projects for efficiency and alignment with priorities.
• Performs other duties as required within scope.
