Job summary

The position requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to undergo background and drug screening; part-time up to 29 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Utah driver’s license required at hire; obtained within 6 months to operate County vehicle.
• Experience working with and around motor vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, crouch, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Shop cleanliness and safety maintenance.
• Locate, stage, and deliver light-duty county vehicles to technicians.
• Assist with vehicle check-in and decommissioning (VIN, plates, cleaning, decals, paperwork).
• Transport and shuttle light-duty county vehicles between facilities and external shops.
• Organize the lot for optimal traffic and access.
• Provide occasional front-desk coverage; assist with repair orders and documentation.
