Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a Director of Operations to stand up and scale centralized fleet-wide operations across multiple sites. You will design uniform standards, management systems, and performance cadences while integrating acquired assets and teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations.

The role emphasizes leadership development, cross-functional collaboration, and the implementation of fleet-wide programs to absorb growth and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent; valid work experience may substitute for education.
• 10+ years in power generation operations and maintenance; multi-site leadership.
• 3+ years as Plant Manager or equivalent with safety, availability, budget, and compliance accountability.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence across safety, reliability, and cost.
• Partner with Asset Management and Finance to translate operations into production economics.
• Develop fleet metrics, dashboards, and root-cause routines.
• Lead annual and multi-year O&M budgets and outage plans.
• Develop vendor/contract strategy to optimize cost and performance.
• Identify operational risks and ensure corrective actions.
• Support M&A due diligence and stand-up of new sites.
• Enable multi-technology execution across the fleet.
• Build a high-performance culture and leadership development.
