Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions in Charleston, SC seeks a Mechanical Service Manager to direct daily work order flow to technicians and oversee safety. You will drive productivity and ensure proper procedures while maintaining strong team leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience assigning service work orders to technicians.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and able to learn AS400, SAP, BTN.
• Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification (preferred).
• Medium/Heavy Truck ASE certifications (strongly preferred).
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations for state/federal compliance.
• Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline powered class 5–8 trucks.

Responsibilities

• Receives, creates, assigns, and monitors all service work orders to technicians.
• Responsible for the productivity of technicians, with a focus on monthly revenue goals.
• Assist branch and operations manager with maintaining up-to-date employee files and certifications.
• Provide sales staff support through service quotes and product lookups.
• Manage customer fleet work and tire-related tasks.
• Assist with warehouse duties and inventory control.
• Regular safety, cleanliness, and organization checks of service bays and equipment.
• Ensure proper branch opening and closing procedures.
