Job summary

WaterBridge is seeking a skilled mechanic to perform a broad range of maintenance and repair duties in field and shop settings around Carlsbad, NM. The role includes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, tire services, and documenting work orders in ACE CMMS, with housing provided if eligible and a safety‑conscious team environment.

This full‑time position requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and 1–2 years of mechanic experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license required.
1–2 years of mechanic experience preferred.
Basic computer and mobile-device skills to manage work orders.
Knowledge of routine vehicle maintenance and diagnostic procedures.
Experience inspecting vehicles, identifying faults, and performing repairs.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools.
Perform preventive and routine maintenance including fluid checks, oil changes, brake inspections.
Mount/dismount tires and repair flats as needed.
Document maintenance activities in ACE CMMS and update work orders.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe mechanic bay.
Support Materials Management/Yard operations and roustabout duties as needed.
Follow all safety procedures and environmental requirements.
