Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of mechanical repair and welding experience preferred.
• Experience with trailers, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, or fleet maintenance preferred.
• Ability to perform MIG and/or stick welding.
• Must provide and maintain personal tools necessary for the position.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to pass background screening and drug testing requirements.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair trailers, vehicles, and related mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance including brakes, tires, lighting systems, hydraulic components, suspension systems, and structural repairs.
• Complete welding and fabrication work for repairs, modifications, and equipment improvements.
• Inspect equipment for operational and safety concerns and document maintenance activities as required.
• Maintain tools, work areas, and maintenance facilities in a clean and organized condition.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and maintenance policies.
• Assist with additional maintenance, operational, or repair duties as assigned.
• Communicate equipment issues, repair status, and maintenance needs to supervisors and operations personnel.
