Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic/Vehicle Technician in Mason City, IA to diagnose and repair gasoline engines, powertrain components, hydraulic brakes, steering and suspension systems, electrical systems, and diesel emission systems.

The role requires ability to use scan tools and laptops, work independently or with a team, and perform routine truck inspections. Hours are Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays; OT paid time and a half after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years technical instruction in diesel or auto mechanics preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair gasoline engines and powertrain components.
• Perform routine truck inspections and maintenance of fleet equipment.
• Follow shift leader instructions and work independently or with a team.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure proper tools are used.
