Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is hiring a Mechanic/Vehicle Technician to diagnose and repair gasoline engines, powertrain components, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems, and diesel emission systems.

This full-time position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and hours Monday–Friday with two start times, $20.00-$33.00 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential. Responsibilities include using scan tools, working with laptops, performing routine fleet maintenance, and ensuring a clean,

Qualifications

• Use scan tools and laptop technology to diagnose vehicle issues.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of diesel or auto mechanics instruction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair gasoline engines, powertrain components, hydraulic brakes, steering and suspension systems, electrical systems, and diesel emission systems.
• Perform routine truck inspections and maintenance of fleet equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and use own tools or obtain them to complete duties.
