Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is seeking a Mechanic/Vehicle Technician to diagnose and repair gasoline engines and powertrain components, hydraulic brakes, steering and suspension systems, electrical systems, and diesel emission systems.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 2:00-10:30pm, with a pay range of $20.00-$33.00 per hour plus $2.00 shift differential. Occasional Saturdays and overtime after 40 hours apply. Must have own tools or ability to obtain them.

Qualifications

• Diesel/auto mechanics technical instruction preferred.
• Must have own tools or ability to obtain tools.
• Experience with diesel or auto repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair gasoline engines and powertrain components.
• Perform routine truck inspections and fleet maintenance.
• Use scan tools and laptop technology.
• Follow shift leader instructions; work independently or with a team.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
