Fleet Mechanic / Truck Technician

TOP PAY: $30-$40 per hour

Working Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm

What are the duties?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Use of Smartphone, Laptop, and Tablet Technology to Record all Repairs
• Repairs and Maintains Light & Medium Duty Customer Vehicles in a Dedicated Shop
• Some Heavier Class 8-9
• MHE experience (electric) will be helpful
• Standard Tech Owned Tools Required
• Major Shop Tools and Diagnostic Equipment is Provided
• Other duties may be assigned

Physical and Safety Requirements

• Must be able to move frequently, stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle, touch, and feel. Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Ability to read and write detailed reports.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions.

Education and Experience

• Five years of Light - Medium Duty Truck Repair Experience Preferred
• Fleet or Auto Experience acceptable

Certificates and Licenses

• Valid Driver's License
• Current CDL or ability to acquire CDL
• ASE certifications are a plus
