Job summary

Offen Petroleum, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanic to service our fleet, performing preventative maintenance, repairs, upgrades, winterization, and corrosion-control measures.

You will diagnose issues quickly and maintain a safe, clean shop aligned with FMCSA, OEM, and company safety standards. The role requires a High School diploma and 5+ years of mechanical experience, Cummins/Detroit diagnostics knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and possibly a CDL.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of mechanic experience preferred.
• Cummins and Detroit mechanic experience required or preferred.
• Knowledge of diagnostics and software used in trucking industry.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled service on fleet vehicles.
• Carry out component installs, upgrades, and system adjustments as needed.
• Diagnose mechanical/electronic issues using diagnostic tools and software.
• Conduct timely and high-quality repairs and safety-compliant work.
• Run roadside service on alternate dates and maintain safe work environment.
