Job summary

Work with supervision and teammates to handle technical diagnostics and repairs. Requirements include a High School diploma and 2–4 years of mechanic experience; CDL license or relevant certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Must understand and apply DOT regulations for vehicle safety and inspections.
• 2–4 years of mechanic/maintenance experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent; CDL/license may be required or preferred.
• Welding experience with arc and MIG processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests from drivers, safety DOT, and fleet managers.
• Maintain and repair trucks and trailers to DOT specifications.
• Conduct periodic inspections and diagnose issues; ensure safe operation.
• Perform annual vehicle inspections and admissions tests as required by state.
• Operate arc and MIG welding equipment as needed.
