Job summary

Forward Air is seeking a skilled Mechanic to keep our fleet running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced transportation environment. This role inspects, diagnoses, and repairs tractors, trailers, and material-handling equipment that support expedited LTL, intermodal, and final mile operations across North America.

You’ll work closely with operations teams, follow strict safety and DOT standards, and maintain accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Inspect, diagnose and repair tractors, trailers and material-handling equipment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic, brake, and engine systems.
• Ability to follow safety and DOT standards and maintain accurate service records.
