Job summary
Forward Air is seeking a skilled Mechanic to keep our fleet running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced transportation environment. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair tractors, trailers, and material-handling equipment across North America, performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting a range of systems.
You will work closely with operations teams, follow safety and DOT standards, and maintain accurate service records.

- Inspect, diagnose and repair tractors and trailers.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, brake and engine systems.
- Respond to urgent repair needs to minimize downtime and maintain service records.
