Job summary

Forward Air is seeking a skilled Mechanic to keep our fleet running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced transportation environment. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair tractors, trailers, and material-handling equipment that support expedited LTL, intermodal, and final mile operations across North America.

Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, brake, and engine systems, and responding to urgent repair needs to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting and repairing tractors, trailers, and material-handling equipment.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot multiple systems.
• Familiarity with DOT standards and safety requirements.
