R.H. White Construction & Service Solutions in Massachusetts is seeking a Mechanic II Fleet & Equipment to keep company-owned fleet vehicles, construction equipment, and shop assets operating safely and reliably.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across a wide range of equipment to minimize downtime and support field operations. You will maintain records, use fleet-management tools, and collaborate with field teams to ensure equipment readiness across job sites.

Qualifications

Four (4) years' experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing fleet vehicles and/or construction equipment.
High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Basic computer skills to complete work orders, inspections, and equipment records.
Ability to understand and communicate in English for safety and regulatory compliance.
CDL Class A preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on fleet vehicles, construction equipment, and small tools.
Maintain accurate equipment schedules, maintenance records, and documentation.
Utilize fleet management systems or digital tools to track work orders, inspections, and repairs.
Coordinate movement of equipment between shop, yard, and job sites.
Ensure equipment readiness to support daily operations and emergency response needs.
