CEMEX, Inc. in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Mechanic Fleet I to maintain and repair mobile equipment in company shops or on roadways, ensuring high equipment availability through proactive preventative maintenance.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues on concrete mixer trucks, perform routine maintenance, brake inspections, and document repairs while adhering to OSHA and safety standards.

Qualificações

• Mechanical experience required.
• Own tools up to 1 1/4
• Be able to read, write, and speak English.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose electrical problems and perform repairs on various equipment including tires, ready-mix concrete trucks, and heavy construction equipment.
• Operate and inspect equipment to diagnose defects.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance such as lubricating and oil changes.
• Brake inspections/adjustments on commercial vehicles following Federal DOT requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, electronics, and other components of concrete mixer trucks.
• Create work orders with legible and accurate information for repairs performed.
