Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions as needed.
• Effective communicator and team player.
• Experience with heavy diesel truck and trailer systems.
• Experience with air brake, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Tire repair experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair truck and trailer components.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on tractor and trailer equipment and complete repair orders.
• Maintain safety and reliability of all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, lift-gates and other equipment.
• Assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues.
• Perform DOT inspections and compliancy.
