Job summary

Cox Automotive in Michigan is seeking an Automotive Mechanic Technician II to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles. You will handle diagnostics, some fabrication, and ensure safety standards while supporting a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Perform Preventive Maintenance such as oil changes, filters, battery, and inspections.
Perform complex repairs, advanced diagnostics, and some fabrication.
Handle repairs across OBD II, brakes, suspensions, electrical systems, engines, and drive lines.
Keep the shop organized and comply with safety standards; dispose of fluids properly.
Inspect units and ensure workmanship meets high standards.
Take initiative to perform tasks without direct supervision.
