Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks an Automotive Mechanic Technician II to maintain and repair fleet vehicles. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and handle installations with attention to safety and cost control.

The role requires ASE certification, 2–3 years of repair experience, and a valid driver's license. Shifts include days; weekend work may be required, with responsibilities across brake, electrical, engine, and hybrid systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• State or ASE Certifications required.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• 2-3 years vehicle service and repair experience.
• Ability to work days, afternoons, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Perform complex repairs and diagnostics.
• Repair various systems (brakes, engine, electrical, etc.).
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety.
• Assist with vehicle troubleshooting and repairs on hybrids.
• Take initiative and work without supervision when appropriate.
• Flexible to other duties as assigned.
