Job summary

Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA) is seeking a Fleet Mechanic in Toledo, OH to maintain a large, diverse fleet. You will perform PMs and repairs with independence, using advanced tools like Noregon, Mitchell 1, and Geotab to diagnose issues and ensure safety.

Responsibilities include fixing gas/diesel engines, hydraulic and air brakes, and keeping precise vehicle records. Strong diagnostics and hands-on maintenance are essential for this role within PBNA's extensive fleet operation.

Qualifications

• Own basic hand tools supplied by you; diagnostic and high-tech tools may be provided by the company.
• Pass Forklift Driving Skills test where required.
• Mechanical knowledge of gas and diesel repair; hydraulic and air brake systems experience.
• Knowledge of internal combustion engines; preventative maintenance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs and repairs with a high degree of independence.
• Use leading-edge technology and programs for diagnostics and maintenance.
• Work on Pepsi's diverse fleet including autos, trucks, vans, and forklifts.
• Diagnose vehicle failures and disassemble/repair parts as needed.
• Maintain vehicle records and pre-trip checklists; respond to service calls.
