Job summary

Fessler & Bowman, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to repair and maintain our fleet and assist with other equipment. Working with the Shop Manager, you will help keep our operation running smoothly.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least 3 years of mechanic experience, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and CDL Class A. Travel to nearby sites may be required, and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 3 years of mechanic experience.
Valid Drivers License with clean driving record.
CDL Class A required.

Responsibilities

Maintain fleet vehicles through repair and preventive care.
Troubleshoot electrical, drive train, HVAC, brakes, engine, suspension, tires.
Identifies needed repairs and performs corrective actions.
Obtains supervisor permission to complete diagnosed repairs and/or add additional repairs.
Use diagnostic equipment to detect and isolate faults.
Communicate with Shop Manager with accurate repair information.
Lubrication and oil change service on all equipment.
Travel to surrounding job sites may be required.
