Job summary

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of fleet or diesel experience, MA inspection license, and a CDL with hazmat/tank endorsements or the ability to obtain them. Strong diagnostic skills and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of fleet, diesel, or automotive mechanic experience.
• MA State Inspection Licensed.
• CDL with hazmat/tank endorsements or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA compliance requirements.
• Safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues.
• Repair, rebuild, or replace engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension.
• Troubleshoot fuel injection, wiring, lighting, and batteries.
• Perform preventive maintenance per PM programs.
• Respond to road service calls and coordinate repairs.
• Replace heavy tires up to 125 lbs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and DOT paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and Hazardous Materials regulations.
