MMT provides ongoing OEM training and supports ASE certifications. Successful candidates will perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis, service, and repair of all vehicle and patient transport/securement systems. Applicants must be able to work safely, accurately diagnose vehicle failures, perform repairs, assist in inventory control, or other duties as necessary.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild, and repair vehicles and equipment.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Document vehicle records in Fleet Management system.
• Execute major and minor repairs of defective components and vehicle systems.
• Source and procure parts/supplies through MMT national accounts.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations.
• Occasionally exposed to extreme weather conditions.
• Work environment can be loud.
• This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
• Must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Self-confidence, emotional stability, good judgment, and tolerance for high stress.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience with ambulance or emergency vehicle repair is preferred.
• Proficiency in light diesel and gas vehicle repair.
• Ability to utilize multiple computer systems and document actions accurately.
• ASE or manufacturer certifications are preferred but not required.
