What You'll Do:

1. Promote Safety. Prioritize safety in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, actively ensuring safety for yourself and others at all times.
2. Repair and Maintain the Crusher. Assemble, disassemble, overhaul, repair, and adjust crushing and processing equipment. Welding experience is preferred.
3. Inspect Equipment and Structures. Conduct daily inspections and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations, maximizing production and minimizing interruptions.
4. Monitor Processes and Materials. Oversee plant operations, especially in aggregate crushing, washing, and screening areas, to identify issues and ensure safety and material compliance.
5. Document and Record Information. Maintain service and lubrication reports for plant equipment for preventative maintenance.
6. Perform General Physical Activities. Assist with plant operations through cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials.
7. Travel. Travel is required.
8. Additional Responsibilities. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills You’ll Need:

1. Experience. Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
2. Knowledge of Best Practices. Understanding of industrial crusher maintenance, construction, or aggregate production principles is preferred.
3. Flexibility. Ability to work overtime and extended hours as needed, outdoors in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
4. Mechanical Skills. Knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.
