Ruppert Landscape is seeking a Mechanic in Chantilly, VA to support our in-house fleet. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel/gas trucks, mowers, and landscape equipment to keep operations safe and productive.

You will work in a fast-paced shop, adhering to safety standards while documenting repairs and collaborating with teammates. Compensation is hourly with benefits and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Safety-first mindset and commitment to safety regulations.
• At least one year of hands-on mechanical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with gas/diesel vehicles and landscaping equipment.
• Willingness to supply personal tools.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within Ruppert Landscape.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Experience with diesel engines and bilingual ability (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment, including power equipment, mowers, trucks, trailers, and other landscape tools.
• Recondition vehicles and equipment per company schedule to ensure they meet company image standards and are safe, reliable, and ready for use.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Accurately document and maintain service and repair records.
• Provide exceptional internal customer service, prioritizing efficiency, quality, and communication.
• Assist with other operational tasks as assigned.
