Job summary

Confire EMS is seeking a skilled mechanic to repair and maintain company vehicles at our Rancho Cucamonga facility. The role requires diagnosing and servicing brakes, electrical, powertrain and climate control systems, with on-call availability around the clock.

Candidate must have a strong automotive background, be able to keep accurate records, and comply with safety policies. A current driver’s license and own tools are required for immediate start.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of automotive/ mechanical repair methods, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to interpret charts, manuals, and diagrams.
• Must furnish own tools.
• Two years as a mechanic or one year post-trade school or college.
• Maintain detailed records of services and repairs.
• Be available 24 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain company vehicles per PM policies.
• Complete preventative maintenance checks and services.
• Diagnose and repair brake, electrical, powertrain, and HVAC systems.
• Respond to road calls as needed.
• Maintain records of services and repairs performed.
• Alert Maintenance Manager to suspected abuse of vehicles/equipment.
