Emr-USA-Metal-Recyclin in Dallas or Houston is seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair transportation equipment to keep our fleet road-ready in a fast-paced shop.

The role requires 2+ years of mechanic experience, with hands-on knowledge of electrical wiring, hydraulic systems, and trailer lighting. Air brake line certification is a plus. You will perform preventive maintenance and respond quickly to breakdowns to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanic experience in fleet maintenance, transportation, or trailer repair.
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and trailer lighting systems.
• Experience with diesel equipment and general mechanical maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs on transportation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including trailer wiring and lights.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems.
• Complete trailer repairs and quick-turn maintenance incl. air brake line repairs.
• Inspect equipment and communicate repair needs to the Fleet Maintenance Manager.
