Job summary

Loomis AB in Moonachie, NJ is seeking a full-time diesel technician for a 12:00 PM–8:30 PM shift (may work Saturday due to operational needs). You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, using our maintenance software to document work and ensure safety.

You must have knowledge of diesel equipment, read service manuals, and hold a valid CDL (Class C or better) to meet DOT standards.

Qualifications

Must have knowledge of diesel equipment and be able to troubleshoot truck systems.
Must read and interpret technical service manuals and repair orders.
Must possess a valid driver’s license (CDL Class C or better) and meet DOT standards.
Minimum 1 year of experience or a certificate from an approved training program.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all company vehicle types per company policy.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Document all vehicle repair and inspection information using our maintenance software program.
Perform inventory and order parts, supplies, as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment per company standards.
