Qualifications

• Requires minimum 3 years diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial fleet vehicles.
• Experience as Fleet/Automotive/Diesel/Truck/Trailer Mechanic preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Troubleshoot to minimize downtime across the fleet.
• Ensure vehicles meet DOT and company compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and safety inspections.
• Communicate repair status and recommendations to management.
• Maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant shop environment.
• Support emergency repairs and other maintenance tasks as needed.
• Travel overnight to support fleet operations.
